Vessel operations in the Port of Constanța

We load and discharge general cargo vessels up to 20,000 dwt at berth RO-RO 4, with electric quay cranes, including the 5,000 t/24h Mantsinen 200 DES. Cargo moves directly between ship and truck or barge, both ways, or through our warehouses.

Vessel operations are our core business, for imports and exports. We choose the cargo’s route by what comes next: direct transloading between ship and truck or barge, transfer by truck between rail wagon and ship, or passage through our warehouses when the cargo needs storing. Before loading, we prepare the cargo by size and lot in advance, so the vessel spends as little time at the berth as possible.

Our staff carry out qualitative and quantitative tally throughout the operation. Equipment and lifting gear are chosen for each type of cargo: steel and wire rod coils, long steel, rebar, big bags, pulp, bulk (grain, fertilisers, minerals), timber or project cargo.

What we can provide

  • Discharging: direct transloading from ship to truck or barge
  • Loading: straight from truck or barge into the ship
  • Rail: transfer by truck between wagon and ship
  • Storage for imports and exports
  • Qualitative and quantitative tally
  • On request: cargo condition surveys, for imports and exports
  • 24/7 operations, night shifts included

What your operation actually includes, and its price, is set in our offer, based on your requirements.
