Our warehouses are inside the free zone of the Port of Constanța. Cargo from outside the European Union can be stored under bond, without paying import duties, until it is released for free circulation or re-exported. This suits cargo in transit to other countries, including up the Danube, or cargo waiting for a buyer. Customs formalities are handled through our partners.
When cargo needs storing, for import or export, we take it into our warehouses and release it onward when needed. The warehouses and the covered area keep cargo out of the weather, while the open yard takes long steel, rebar, machinery and project cargo.
We use handling equipment dedicated to the type of cargo stored and keep a computerised stock record, so cargo leaves quickly, sorted by size, whether to the consignee or onto the ship.
