Each product has its own gear. Steel coils are lifted with the 25 t C-hook, wire rod coils with the 3 × 3 t coil hook, and long steel, pipes, sections and rebar with the 25 t anchor hook and slings. The Mantsinen 200 DES electric quay crane discharges up to 5,000 t in 24 hours, and our own equipment, chosen for the weight of each piece, moves the cargo on the quay and in storage.
Cargo can go straight from the ship to the truck or barge, with no storage in between, or be stored: steel coils and wire rod coils under cover, long steel and rebar on the open yard. On discharge we sort the cargo by size and consignee, and on request we carry out a condition survey with a report.
From here, cargo reaches consignees by truck, up the Danube by barge or by rail, through our partners, with one quote from the ship to the destination.
